Observations and comments made that made me happy this morning

• A random person on the street corner said "You look wonderful today" to me. He said that today was a day to spread happiness and joy. He complimented each person that crossed his path and you could see the grin or the smile that spread across their face.

  • Today I feel sickly and not-so-wonderful, so it was a big bonus to hear that from a random gentleman

• Twisted Grounds, a coffee shop on 20th and Spring Garden, has a barista (owner?) who has her hair dyed a bright neon teal color. Each outfit she wears incorporates that color. Every. Single. Day. Today she had on a teal striped blouse and teal pants.

  • She said that she has been doing it for four years now, with some exceptions

• Today is such a beautiful day out. Clear, sunny, breezy. There were so many people just out and about, riding a bike or walking their dogs.
